These superb tomahawks are precision drop forged from 1055 Carbon steel. Drop forging is the best method of manufacture for any impact weapon, particularly one with a cutting edge. During the forging process a metal ingot is heated almost white hot and then formed into shape in a series of progressive dies. The large steel dies are fixed to enormous compressed air hammers. Each die hammers the hot metal into a gradually more finished shape. The steel is kneaded and compressed into a completely homogeneous mass making the grain structure uniform and minimizing gas pockets or other imperfections that can ruin the construction of a hand forged hawk. This is why most good axes, hatchets, and hammers are drop forged.

Capturing the Viking spirit, the Norse Hawk’s 4" blade features a highly curved cutting edge and terminates in two sharp points. These points increase the chance of a stick when the Norse Hawk is thrown

You will find that there will be additional charges applied to select oversize and/or heavy items, as well as orders shipping outside the lower 48 states (Alaska, Hawaii, and other select US territories).

The ability to deliver merchandise to a PO Box is restricted in that only orders less than 2lbs and under $100 can be delivered via PO Box. All other orders must have a physical address that they can be shipped to. Please provide a physical address at the time of your order for purchases over $100 and in excess of 2 lbs to prevent any delay in delivery.
